Day 20!

Your views on drugs and alcohol.....


Hate them.
They ruin lives.

Drugs: I have never done drugs but i have dealt with them. Jeff (my husband) was addicted to meth. pretty intense. I didn't know he was doing meth. The way i found out was getting a call from his sister telling me Jeff was in jail. i HATED him. i was sooo angry. We were together for a year and i was so in love with him and felt so betrayed. It all made sense why we fought so much. Why he was so rude to me. and i was done. He was only in jail for a week. And as soon as he got out....what did he do? Came running to me. Not to be together (although im sure that was on the agenda too) but he came running to me for help. I was the only one he cared enough for to change. If i wasnt in his life, he wouldnt have a reason to change and would make it that much harder. How could i turn that down? I never regretted making that decision. Jeff is now 4 years clean. he is my hero. i also have friends who have overcame drugs and addiction. Bottom line it just ruins lives. Even medical drugs are iffy. i try to avoid any sort of medicine as much as i can. im all about the natural. MANY and MOST addictions come from pain pills. It starts out as a legit need for them and quickly turns into an addiction to pain pills .


Alcohol:  i do think that people can handle it without it RUINING their life but from what i have noticed it only causes fights, messes, death (drunk driving) stupidity, unwanted babies, and std's. haha no but really. And most of the time when you have it "handled" and have "control" of your drinking...it turns into a nasty habit and then does ruin your life. So basically in the long run it is just bad. It is something that really is unnecessary in life. i can have a good time without it :) thanks.

Day 18: Your views on gay marriage.
Day 19: What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?
Day 20: Your views on drugs and alcohol.
Day 21: (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do?
